(Training for this
Painless Childbirth was completed by telephone)
Pre-Birthing
Help
"Prior to the
actual labor I used the relaxation techniques, listened to the tapes, working with the
imaginary glove and talked to Isaac frequently. I felt so close to him and loved him
so much even before I actually physically met him. (I truely knew him before.)
It's amazing how much you can love someone! WOW!"
Sessions are
not work, they're fun!
"...I
loved working with you in our sessions. Dave and I looked forward to them.
I really liked the mental house-cleaning, the relaxation elevator, and of course my
special room, chair and glove."
Anesthesia
Techniques used for much more than the actual childbirth!
"I was very
aware of my fingers (a relaxation technique) when the nurse was trying to find a vein for a heplock
(I guess it was mandatory for 'just-in-case' emergencies.) Anyway, I hate
needles. But as they tried to find a vein (about 20 pokes) I sat completely
relaxed in my glider-rocker imagining myself in my special room, in my special chair.
The next day I had bruises all over my hand."
Absolute
Confidence!
"I appreciated
the extra confidence and positive outlook on childbirth. I knew beforehand that it
was a wonderful, natural, beautiful experience."
The Body
responds to 'what the mind perceives as reality!
"The mood was
very relaxed and the Spirit was very strong in the room. During the pushing phase of
delivery, I focused on Isaac coming down through the canal, and let him know everything
was okay. When he was born and placed on my chest, it was so wonderful! (just as I
had pictured it many times before.)"
A Beautiful
Baby and Lots of Thanks!
"He is a great
little boy, So Happy!! We are all very thankful for your help, love and light
that you gave us. I know you help many people; I am so glad that I have been one of
them."
One Year Later!
"... Isaac is
almost a year old. I need to introduce him to you before he grows up and leaves home
:-)! He is such a happy boy - So Fun! We thought we should send you a family photo
so you would know who you were talking to on the telephone."
