I am sure these following facts are not unfamiliar to you:
Most tobacco users are in a state of denial. They know tobacco kills. In fact,
last year there were over 400,000 tobacco related deaths. DEATHS!!
The subconscious mind for some reason usually associates with a childhood
incident, peer pressure, etc, and believes that smoking is a type of reward system.
The conscious mind knows all the facts about tobacco use. IT KILLS!!
And so the battle rages, conscious vs subconscious.
Did you know that just three years of smoking DEATHS will KILL more than
those KILLED in World War I, World War II, Vietnam, and Korea .. more
than 1.3 million. JUST THINK ABOUT THAT. GO AHEAD, TAKE A MINUTE
AND THINK ABOUT IT.
And here we are an industrialized, intelligent society. (Did I say "INTELLIGENT?")
I could go on and on aobut the possibility of cancer, emphysema, heart disease,
and other difficulties, but you already know all those answers.
N O W, do something about it.
And, by the way, did I forget to mention, that you really shouldn't believe
that you are the only one being harmed by smoking. Those around you,
family members, loved ones, friends .. all are just as open to the same smoking
diseases as you are, BECAUSE YOU!! SMOKE.
A pretty stiff responsibility, isn't it! Or shall I say:
